So I finally got a MacBook Pro 13" (Specs to come) and so far I am loving it. I plan to post weekly about my switch to a native OS X device. Some of you may remember that I've been a Mac Addict since I first started working / playing with Macs back with iMac. While I didn't own each model I have owned several different model iMacs and Performa's, etc.

Well I had another tooth ache! this time on the other side of my mouth on the bottom. Turns out this one I had a root canal for and while my mouth and jaw hurt for several days and is still a little tender the root canal itself was not that bad! The Dentist that performed it did such a good job that the shot to numb my tooth was the worst pain I felt.

This update won't be too long but it has been a while since I have written on here so I need to get back into the routine. In the last month we have officially reached the 6 month point in our journey back to my hometown, and that means I've been at my new job for 6 months also! I will be adding to the food blog this month as well as the photo album section.

This post has been a long time coming and since I am taking a few days off work it is the perfect time to go live with this update. I'll go down the list with no particular plan other than to update the masses about the life changes that have happened in recent months and what is coming up in the near future.

OK, here is my update for November:

I said I was going to keep it light and easy since we were going into the holidays and I wish that were totally true. I had an idea all the sudden when Kimberly and Jonah were eating a pear recently. I happened to eat some of the pear also. I know it is hard to believe I had a pear for the first time! This made me think long and hard again about all the eating problems I've dealt with almost my whole life.

I got this in just in time! I keep the streak alive with 3 months straight with an update. Let me start with a recap of last month then I will move on to the points in my head:

Last Month -

1) New desk frame is completed but budget has forced the project to a halt at this point. Hopefully after Christmas (and several web projects) I will be able to send some money back towards building it. - Project on Hold

2) This actually happened! Then somehow the house became a mess again, but a more manageable mess. - Non-stop Project!

Ok believe it or not I am actually updating this within a month of my last post! Plus as an added bonus I am even giving an update from last month:

1) I have built a functional bed for Madison. She is getting ready to go to bed on it right now. I still need to finish painting it pink and making it look all pretty but still I MADE A BED!

2) I updated my website! This is the first major update to it in a while and I am going to try to keep the ball rolling. Hopefully the streamlined look and updated RSS feeds at the bottom will make the site more appealing.

Here is the list of projects I am working on this month. More updates to come:

1.) Building a replacement bed for Madison to use. She is helping me make a platform bed that we are going to make all pretty and into a bed fit for a princess. It is about 75% complete, pictures to come.

2.) Updating my website and facebook pages to be current and in sync.

3.) Creating plans to make a simple yet custom desk so I am comfortable when killing hours working on websites and in Photoshop.
